Over 200 years in the making the Native American and the Caucasian European finally came to blows in an event that completely and finally opened the door for American migration to the west and definitively closed the door to a way of life for the American Indian. There is a lot of background to the Red River War, and that is why I did this video. Lots of people know little if anything about the war. Many more have never heard of it, even though the consequences of this short and obscure war had a HUGE impact on the growth of our county.
